I always ask myself, what is the purpose of education? I feel that it is developing critical thinking, fostering creativity, compassion, imbibing the values taught by our motherland but at the same time learning to get ready for any challenge and equipping students to convert every opportunity into possibility.

I am very proud to say that our teachers are enthusiastic, well qualified and are highly motivated to empower our children with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, digital literacy required to face a rapidly changing world, and also to enjoy lifelong learning through excellent curricular and extracurricular activities.

As I reflect on Freedom International School’s journey since its inception in 2006, I’m struck by its remarkable growth – from 25 students to over 1,800 today.  At Freedom International School, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, critical thinking, and character development. Learning is the foundation upon which we build our futures. Our mission is to provide holistic education that prepares students for success in an ever-changing world.

At Freedom International, there is an inherent and unwritten tenet that says to everyone, ‘Children are our first priority.’ This is reflected in every aspect of school life, whether it’s in the classroom or out of it. From day one, every decision we make together is based on this premise. The width of each step, the level of the washbasins, the spongy grass carpet below the climbing wall in the activity room, the rush to wipe a child’s tears away when she or he says ‘bye’ to a parent, the support staff who escort the children to the buses,

The students of the present have little or no use for text books. Schooling is a constantly evolving system. Knowledge is omnipresent. However, the development of relevant skills that hold good in the constantly changing educational and occupational scene is crucial and to be focused upon. We, at Freedom, encourage and develop enquiring minds that not only question but think, gather data, analyze and process, and then find appropriate solutions. We believe in the progress and well-being of each and every student who has been enrolled into the portals of our institution.

Our Pre Primary is a joyful space where learning begins with warmth, exploration and connections. We believe every child is unique, and our early years’ facilitators take the time to truly understand each little learner – supporting their growth with care and encouragement.
